Frequently Asked Questions....
What is a D.O.?
In the United States, the D.O. and the M.D. are the only two degrees permitting licensure as medical physicians. D.O and M.D. physicians have similar training (both requiring four years of training in the basic and clinical sciences and the successful
completion of licensing exams). Osteopathic medical physicians receive training in Osteopathic Manual Manipulation. While their scope of practice includes some conventional medical therapies, they rely more exclusively on osteopathic manipulative medicine and other alternative medical modalities.
What services do you provide?
Our comprehensive medical services include: Conventional & Comprehensive Family Medicine, Hypothyroid Treatment, Chelation Therapy, and Osteopathic Spinal Adjustment. Other services include school, sports, and employment physicals, preventative healthcare, immunizations, same-day sick appointments, early morning appointments, and on-site lab appointments.
When should I receive my lab results?
You will be notified immediately of any critical lab results. Otherwise, you will hear from us by phone or letter within one week of your appointment. If you have not heard from us within one week, please call 804-897-3746 to speak with our staff about your lab results.
